Thirty years after the events of the first film, a new blade runner, LAPD Officer K, unearths a long-buried secret that has the potential to plunge what's left of society into chaos. Strikes a true balance between new and old. Denis Villeneuve has a perfect filmmaking record in my mind, and Blade Runner 2049 continues that trend with aplomb.

Final rating:★★★★ - Very strong appeal. A personal favourite.
